Is red light therapy the same as a tanning bed?

No. The NovoTHOR emits no ultraviolet light at all. It cannot tan or burn the skin, and it is not a heat treatment. It delivers red and near-infrared wavelengths chosen for how cells absorb them, which is a fundamentally different mechanism.

Why a whole-body bed instead of a handheld panel?

A panel treats one region at a time and depends on you holding position and distance consistently. The NovoTHOR surrounds you, so coverage is even and repeatable from session to session without you having to manage it.

How many sessions before I notice anything?

It varies by person and by goal. The honest answer is that photobiomodulation is cumulative: benefits build across a series of visits rather than appearing after one. We will help you set a realistic schedule instead of promising a timeline we cannot guarantee.

Are there reasons not to book?

Speak with your physician first if you are pregnant, taking photosensitizing medication, being treated for cancer, or have had recent steroid injections in an area you want treated. These are precautions, and we are glad to talk them through before you commit.

Does it replace physical therapy or medical care?

No. We position red light therapy as a complement to the care you already receive, not a substitute for it. Many clients use it alongside physical therapy, training or an existing treatment plan.
