Rejuvenation, beyond the row houses.
Hilltop Estates residents embrace wellness with FDA-cleared NovoTHOR red light therapy, a premium, whole-body experience waiting for you at our Howell studio.
A modern ritual for a close-knit community
Hilltop Estates is known for its distinctive row-house and attached neighborhoods, its strong sense of community, its family-friendly parks, and a rich cultural heritage that includes Romanian and Brazilian roots. It is a place that values both togetherness and modern comforts, and red light therapy fits right in: a refined, non-invasive way to recover and recharge that feels like a genuine treat rather than a chore.
With gyms and yoga studios in nearby Blackwood, community recreation leagues, and parks used daily for walking and jogging, residents here already live actively. Our FDA-cleared NovoTHOR bed bathes your entire body in clinical red and near-infrared light, supporting the lifestyle you have already built.
The experience, in four dimensions
Performance & recovery
From the Little League fields to weekend workouts, light helps muscles rebuild faster between efforts.

Explore this benefitInside twenty minutes of whole-body light
The bed emits two wavelengths simultaneously. Red light at 660 nanometers is absorbed near the surface, in skin and the tissue immediately beneath it. Near-infrared at 850 nanometers travels deeper, into muscle, connective tissue and the structures around joints. Both are taken up by an enzyme inside your mitochondria, the compartments where cells generate energy. Absorbing that light lets them produce more ATP, which is the fuel every repair process in the body ultimately runs on.
Two secondary effects follow. Local blood flow increases, which is why the warmth feels even rather than surface-level and why more oxygen reaches tissue that has been working. And inflammatory signaling tends to resolve more promptly, which matters less for a single sore afternoon than it does for the person handling a second and third one in the same week.
Same day
A session runs 15 to 20 minutes. You feel warm and loosened off immediately. There is no downtime, so you can go straight from the studio to whatever is next.
First weeks
At two or three sessions a week, improved sleep is usually the earliest change people report, with everyday stiffness easing alongside it.
Longer run
Soreness between efforts and reduced inflammation build with consistency. Skin changes on a slower clock still. Results vary and are never guaranteed.
The wellness map around Blackwood
Hilltop Estates runs on a practical suburban wellness culture. Gyms and yoga studios sit close by in Blackwood, health food and fresh produce come from ShopRite and local farmers markets, and Camden County medical facilities cover the clinical side. Nothing here is exotic, and that is the point: it is a set of habits people can actually sustain.
Community recreation leagues and the parks used for walking and jogging add the rest. What is missing from that map is a recovery step. Training, leagues and daily walking all create load; almost nothing in a normal week is dedicated to helping the body absorb it. That is the slot whole-body red light therapy fills, and why residents fold a Howell session into an existing routine rather than replacing anything in it.
Where the week already goes
- Hilltop Park, for walking paths, playgrounds and open fields.
- The Hilltop Swim Club, through the summer season.
- The Blackwood Hilltop Little League Fields, for youth sports and gatherings.
- Dining and shopping along the Black Horse Pike.
Wardrobe, cadence, and safe use
First visits are simple, and worth knowing about in advance.
What to wear
You have the room to yourself. Light only treats the tissue it reaches, so most clients undress to underwear or less. Come without lotions, oils or heavy makeup, since anything sitting on the skin blocks the wavelengths. Protective eyewear is provided.
How often to come
Two to three sessions a week is the usual starting cadence. Consistency does more than duration, so a short standing appointment beats an occasional long one. Book online or call and we will fit it around practices, shifts and school runs.
Who it suits
Most healthy adults. It is non-invasive, emits no ultraviolet light and involves no needles, heat lamps or recovery period, which is why it works for a competitive athlete and a seventy-year-old walker on the same afternoon.
When to check first
Tell us if you take photosensitizing medication — some antibiotics, acne treatments and herbal supplements raise light sensitivity. If you are pregnant, in treatment for cancer, or managing a skin or eye condition, speak with your physician before booking.
Rooted where you live
Three places anchor community life here through every season, and each one leaves its own mark on the people who use it. When the games and gatherings are over, whole-body red light therapy is the recovery step that helps you feel as good as the day you had.
-
Hilltop Swim Club
A longstanding private swim club serving families here and in the surrounding area, known for its community events and summer recreation. Swimming is famously kind to joints and famously hard on shoulders — repetitive overhead rotation is the single most common source of complaint among people who swim regularly.
-
Hilltop Park
The local green space, with walking paths, playgrounds and open fields. It is where most of the neighborhood’s daily movement actually happens: laps around the path before work, an hour outside with the kids after it.
-
Blackwood Hilltop Little League Fields
Baseball fields hosting youth sports and community gatherings. Players throw and sprint; the adults around them spend whole afternoons standing on hard ground, coaching, keeping score and packing up. Both bodies leave sore, for different reasons.
