Old roots, new ways to feel good

Experience rejuvenation rooted in Tennent’s historic charm. FDA-cleared NovoTHOR® whole-body red light therapy is now a short drive away, at our studio on Route 9 in Howell.

A small place that has always looked after its own

Tennent is quiet, residential, and unusually aware of its own history. Old Tennent Church has stood here since 1751. The cemetery beside it holds Revolutionary War soldiers. Part of Monmouth Battlefield State Park runs through the area. People here know what came before them, and they tend to look after what they have — including each other.

That instinct carries into how residents handle their health. Tennent sits inside Manalapan Township, so daily life pulls on the wider area’s wellness resources: gyms, local markets with real food options, primary care practices, and medical facilities within easy reach in Freehold. Outdoor activity at nearby parks is a normal part of the week, and local organizations put on wellness events people actually attend.

Whole-body red light therapy fits that pattern. It is non-invasive, drug-free, takes less time than a walk around the battlefield trails, and it is aimed at the same thing Tennent has always valued — keeping what you have in good condition.

It also asks very little of you. There is nothing to prepare beforehand and nothing to recover from afterward, so a session slots into a normal Tennent afternoon rather than rearranging one. Most people find their rhythm at two or three visits a week, then adjust based on how they feel. Nobody here will promise you a miracle — what the research supports is a well-studied way of giving your body better conditions to repair itself in.

The places that make Tennent, Tennent

Neighbors give directions by these. So do we. A place this small holds onto its landmarks, and these four carry most of Tennent’s story between them — a church older than the country, the ground a battle was fought on, and the everyday institutions that keep a community stitched together.

Old Tennent Church

A historic Presbyterian church established in 1751, notable for its role in the Revolutionary War and still a defining community landmark.

Monmouth Battlefield State Park

Portions of this major Revolutionary War battlefield sit in the Tennent area, with trails and interpretive sites for anyone who walks them.

Tennent Cemetery

An 18th-century cemetery beside the church, holding the graves of Revolutionary War soldiers and local historical figures.

Tennent Post Office

A longstanding local postal facility, and one of those small institutions that keeps a place feeling like a place.

How a session works

You lie down in the NovoTHOR bed for 15 to 20 minutes while red light at 660nm and near-infrared light at 850nm reach your whole body at once. The light is absorbed by the mitochondria inside your cells, which respond by producing ATP — the energy your body spends on repair — more efficiently.

Nothing touches you. There is no UV, no needles, and no downtime. Most people go straight on with their day and settle into two or three sessions a week.
